Motivational Activities
The most fun summer event in Neoplanta, the traditional Children’s Day, was last celebrated on June 9th, 2020. This seventh in a row Children’s Day, combined two events – International Children’s Day and World Environment Day, and its theme was hence Eco Children’s Day. Through creatively designed games, children were taught what environmental responsibility means and how to conserve nature. They made toys and objects from recycled materials (cardboard, old bottles, corks, egg boxes, etc.), cork mosaics, planted flowers, and later gave their masterpieces to their parents.
Surrounded by music, animation, fruits and gifts, the children enjoyed their day, and at the end of the socializing, symbolically planted a tree in the vicinity of our factory. With this gesture, we wanted to develop healthy habits in children from the young age and send a message that taking care of yourself and your environment is one of the main values we nurture, both in Neoplanta and outside of it.

Continuous Development
Every employee is important to us, that is why we carefully and keenly follow the individual careers of all our employees. We perform the evaluation of our employees once a year. This process gives us an insight into their work performance, but also serves as a basis for drafting of development plans for our colleagues. Internal movements and promotions are often the outcome of evaluation results.
A training plan is drawn up for each employee, in accordance with his/her development needs. This step allows us to gain a broader insight into the possibilities of further development of their career. We pay great attention to the development of our employees through various training programs, internal or external, which correspond to their individual needs, as well as the specific needs of our business operations.

What kind of training do you provide to employees?
When employees fist start working for Neoplanta they go through a mandatory training process to enable them to commence work activities in our Company. In addition to this, continuous development is one of the values we cherish and toward which we, as a Company, strive. In view of this our employees have the opportunity to, throughout the entire year, attend internal and external trainings, in accordance with their development plans and job requirements.
Is there an Onboarding Plan for new employees?
The Onboarding Plan defines activities that new employees have to go through in order to become familiar with the Company and the job they will be performing. The duration of the Onboarding Plans can differ, depending on the position the employee will be undertaking, and is adapted to the needs of the job. The goal of these plans is for the employee to become familiar with the Company's values in the best possible manner and acquire the knowledge required to independently perform tasks.
Do you have a mentoring program at Neoplanta?
As one of the ways of further the development of our best employees, a development plan is drafted for them each year. This plan pertains for further upgrading of their key competencies and in such instances, mentors are defined to help them achieve these goals.
